We would like to invite you to our annual
14th Student Symposium on Molecular Medicine
taking place at Ulm University from 05-06.05.23.
This year’s topic is “Sex, drugs & life science – the interplay of sex, hormones and gender”. During the event, you will get the chance to listen to various scientists who are going to present their current research. Besides, you will also have plenty of opportunities to engage with the speakers in conversations.
Workshops
On Friday (05.05.23) afternoon, the Symposium will start with different workshops hosted by different institutes. Unfortunately, not everybody will have the opportunity to participate. The registration for the workshops will open on our website at 01.04.23, first come first serve. A detailed list of workshops with the individual contents will be published on our website in the next few weeks.
Poster Session
In addition to the talks, we want to give students the opportunity to present their current research projects in poster form.
Topics are not limited to “Sex, drugs & life science – the interplay of sex, hormones and gender”, so feel free to prepare posters from your own research area, e.g. your Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis.
Just check the “Poster” checkmark during the registration and you are good to go! If you have already registered and decided later to present your work, just contact us.
If you like to, you can also present a poster on your own research (e.g. your bachelor thesis) during the symposium. If you would like to present a poster, please specify this during the online registration.
As usual, there will be great prizes to win.
Of course refreshments and lunch will be provided by us, as well as coffee and a selection of our legendary homemade cakes (everything free of charge).
Get together/ party
On Friday there will be a pub crawl to get to know all participating students. If you want to join just tick the box during your registration. On top of that we plan to have a party on Saturday evening.
